The History of 735 Exposition Blvd

Stats:

1900:

At or around the turn of the century the building was conceived and constructed as a hotel to accommodate guests for The World's Fair that was located where Audubon Park now resides. The building still contains all the original architectural details from it's original construction. The intercom system in the building, which consisted of small metal funnels next to the front door and tubing that ran to each associated room can still be seen on the building.

Current:

The time period is currently not known, but at some point the building was converted from a hotel to a 9 unit apartment complex. The building is still in the same 9 unit floorplan but the majority of the plumbing, electrical and kitchen appliances have been upgraded over the past 10 years.
